Vision
Training up the generations to bring healing to the nations MissionKingdom Medical Mission International is a unique organization that combines the strengths of the generations to come together to serve nations in the specific area of health and medicine. Kingdom Medical Missions International goal is to act as a mobile training center influencing multiple institutions and the generations in various disciplines of medicine. Medical physicians, nurses, pre-medical students, and pre-nursing students will be sent into various nations around the world where relationship has been established. Kingdom Medical Missions International (KMMI) was formed to assist in the treatment of the multiple medical problems that exists in Kisumu, Kenya. Kisumu, Kenya is known as one of the most diseased areas of the world. Tuberculosis, malaria, HIV, as well as malnutrition and diarrhea converge to create a very high mortality rate. Seattle Pacific University (SPU) has a pre-med and a pre-nursing program to prepare students for careers in medicine. Like most institutions, there is great need for mentors to come alongside the students to teach and demonstrate their profession. Christ Church Kisumu (CCK) is located in Kisumu, Kenya. It has existed since 1980 and consists of multiple tribes. The church serves its community by sponsoring a baby rescue mission and a medical hospital. KMMI will partner with SPU to take pre-medical and pre-nursing students, train them and lead them on a missions trip to CCK to work in the community of Kisumu, at the baby rescue mission, and at the Nightingale Hospital. In so doing, KMMI mission is to add value to the programs already existent at CCK and to advance in the training of the students to develop into healthcare professionals. |
